Latex

Latex is obtained from the white sap of the rubber tree. After pre-treatment by smoking and rolling, the material is vulcanised (addition of sulphur and heating) to form latex. Latex is therefore actually rubber, but is called something else to distinguish it from car tyres, for example.

Latex is mainly used for clothing. The latex outfit is worn on bare skin and fits the wearer's body perfectly like a second skin. This is particularly popular with women as it emphasises their feminine curves. The outfit also looks wicked and sexy. This is why femdoms in particular wear such outfits. Tight outfits with zips in the appropriate places are particularly wicked.

Another use of latex is the so-called body bag. This is a bag in which the passive play partner is almost completely encased, enclosing them and severely restricting their freedom of movement. This type of play is a special variant of bondage and a combination with latex fetishism.
