Gray- is used as a prefix primarily for A_sexuality (gray-sexual or gray-asexual), but also for A_romanticism and for gender identities. It stands for the grey area or the spectrum. Grey asexuality means, for example, that a person feels little sexual attraction, that sexual attraction is rare or that a person is not sure whether they feel sexual attraction.
Grey(a)sexual: being in the grey area between allosexual and asexual.
