Biphobia

Biphobia refers to discrimination against bisexual people. It manifests itself, for example, in rejection, anger, intolerance, prejudice, discomfort or physical or psychological violence towards bisexual people or people who are perceived as bisexual. Internalised biphobia is hostility that is directed against one's own bisexual orientation and therefore against oneself. This often occurs in a homophobic and bisexual environment and/or before coming out. The queer scene is also sometimes a place of biphobia.
