Lesbophobia

Like homophobia, lesbophobia refers to discrimination against lesbians. It manifests itself, for example, in rejection, anger, intolerance, prejudice, discomfort or physical or psychological violence towards lesbian people or people who are thought to be lesbian. Even more than homophobia, lesbophobia has a lot to do with sexism, i.e. the devaluation of everything that is female or perceived as female. This can be seen, for example, in the fact that lesbophobia often affects people who do not conform to society's typical female role model.
