DMAB

DMAB / AMAB / MAAB: The abbreviation DMAB stands for designated male at birth, AMAB for assigned male at birth and MAAB for male assigned at birth. The three terms stand for different variants of assignment to the male sex at birth.

Intersex, transgender and non-binary people who were assigned male at birth use this term to express that they do not or only partially identify with the male gender.
